Study on the Static Characteristics of a Pre-Pressure Single-Action Membrane-Type Restrictor Used in a Single Oil Pad

In order to further improve the static stiffness of hydrostatic bearing with membrane-type restrictor, in this study, a characteristics model pre-pressure single-action restrictor (PSMR) is derived, and criteria for achieving optimum are summarized. A PSMR design method following optimal proposed. Then, effect parameters on performance accurately evaluated by numerical simulation orthogonal experiment grinder oil pad, as an example. Finally, compared that traditional restrictors, main source error discussed. The results show membrane structure reduced some extent parallel circuit PSMR. addition, designed according paper theoretically has better than without pre-pressure, average improvement about 14.14%.
